Ok, not in the sense that you may be thinking. Not yet, at least!
One of the things that come along with being pregnant, is the growing and changing of your body. This is not my first time at the rodeo, so I thought I was prepared for what was going to happen to my body over the next few months.
I should have known better.
You know how I have been going on and on about how different this pregnancy is than the last one? Ya. So what’s the latest curve-ball in this journey?
My boobs are out of control.
Out of control as in they have grown 3 CUP SIZES in the last 14 weeks. It’s a little crazy, and way out of my comfort zone. When I was pregnant with Marley, this did not happen, at least not until she was born and they became milk makers.
(I apologize for any males that are reading this. The boobs! part of this post caught your attention, and you were falsely led here. Sorry.)
I finally caved in, took a evening to myself, and made a date with the Victoria’s Secret fitting lady. Once you get over the weirdness of someone else measuring around your girls, and focusing on nothing BUT your boobs and how they sit in a particular bra, it was awesome. It was here that I was told that I am now a full 3 cup sizes bigger, and it was quickly decided that I needed a few good bras to get me through to the next few months.
Words can hardly express how happy I was to have a bra where my cups were not running over, and wires/bands were not digging into my body. It’s truly amazing how much more comfortable I am, but not only that; they LOOK better now, even in a regular top. Ladies, pregnant or not, do yourself a favor and get a bra fitting done every year or so!
I come home, happily swinging my pink Victoria’s Secret bag, and drop it to the floor to catch a excited Marley into my arms. She’s all a flutter, asking a million questions and wanting to know what I bought at the store. She stops and shoves her little hands into the depths of my tissue paper filled bag and pulls out my purchases.
“Oh Mummy! You got beautiful new boobies!!!”
Did I mention that my front door was still open as she yelled this in her loudest, most excited toddler voice. Oh. Ya. It was.
Yes. Mummy did get new boobies, they and feel fabulous.

love that part of being preggos – enjoy your new boobies! Oh, and I totally agree with getting a good bra fitting, it is amazing!
